Froehle will be installed as our pastor, it is our 125th Parish Anniversary and our Feast Day! Archbishop Hebda will be here to celebrate 10:30am Mass and install Fr. Froehle. A picnic will follow the 10:30am Mass ($10/person). Please RSVP!

GROWING IN FAITH
graders are invited to High School Youth Group. We will meet twice a month on Sunday evenings from 4-6 PM starting on Sunday, October 3
. All high school students are invited to join us for an evening of faith and fellowship!
SYNOD SMALL GROUPS
The Archbishop has called a Synod to look at three main focus areas to assist the Archdiocese and parishes in the planning process. You are invited to join a small group within the parish to discuss these focus areas:
#1 – Forming missionary disciples who know Jesus’ love and respond to his call
#2 – Forming parishes that are in the service of evangelization
#3 – Forming youth and young adults in and for a church that is always young
Please sign up on the attached form (you are invited to participate even if unable to attend all 6 sessions because your input is valued).
VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES FOR MIDDLE & HIGH SCHOOL YOUTH
Cookie Saturday and Donut Sunday
graders are invited to volunteer for Cookie Saturday and Donut Sunday on September 18
. If you need service hours for NHS or other clubs, this is a great opportunity! There are open slots on Saturday and Sunday. Sign up using the link:
We are participating in this program for students in need at North Trail Elementary School. There are currently 18 students whose families have requested bags of food for weekend use. Current items in need: Mac & Cheese cups, juice boxes, pudding cups and single-serving size chips. You can leave your donation in the gray tote in the Gathering Space.
(Please, no fruit cups at this time)
OFFICE OF VOCATIONS
In September and October, the Office of Vocations will be hosting three important annual discernment events.
Please help us to promote these opportunities to the young adults and high schools students in your parish.
Your encouragement to attend may make all the difference in a young person’s vocation.

- September 24 – 26, 2021 (weekend retreat for women discerning consecrated life)
– October 30, 2021, with Bishop Cozzens (one day retreat for men with a college degree)
Archbishop’s Discernment Retreat
- October 29 – 31, 2021 with Archbishop Hebda (weekend retreat for High school Juniors to age 24 – men without a college degree)
ARE YOU ABLE TO HELP?
We need help with a couple of projects in the office.
We are looking for someone to do a large typing project. It would be helpful if this person could come in during the work day and work on the project in the parish office.
We also have a large number of photos that need to be sorted.
